Newburgh Health Care Proxy (Living Will) Attorneys
Most people are familiar with Terri Schiavo, the woman who was in an accident and left in a vegetative state. She did not have a health care proxy (living will), which resulted in expensive and protracted litigation. Ms. Schiavo's parents contended she was a devout Catholic and would never consent to ending her life under any circumstances. Her husband claimed she had confided in him that she would not want to live in a vegetative state. The parents and husband fought for 15 years.
